Alone In A Crowd

Sing we for idleness and not for love,
In love we have happiness, but we push and we shove.
Scare me with emptiness for a word said out loud,
No matter if I win for less, I’m quite lonely in a crowd.

No one at the temple, no one by my side,
No one here but all around, in a, crowd I must hide.

‘Cause I’m alone in a crowd,
Just alone in a crowd.
I’m alone in a crowd
Just alone in a crowd.

In the masses all by myself,
All around do the people see me?
If I speak will they hear me,
And will they say, “What do you want”?

My minds made up, I will be known,
With everyone I won’t be alone.
Some day soon, it might be today,
People will listen to what I say.

But for now…..
I’m just alone in a crowd,
Just alone in a crowd.
I’m alone in a crowd,
Just alone in a crowd.

Won’t someone just look at me and face the inter man?
Can’t you see I’m just like you, not afraid to take a stand?

Are you like me somehow, do you feel the way that I do?
Do the people stand all around and seem to stare at you?

Are you like me……..?
Are you alone in a crowd?
Just alone in a crowd.
I’m alone in a crowd.
Just alone in a crowd.
This shouldn’t be allowed.
I’m alone in a crowd.
Just alone in a crowd.
